Inquirer Adds New Flyers Reporter

The Philadelphia Inquirer is bringing in a new Flyers writer:
Some news:
Today is my last day with @MirrorUSSports & @ExpressUSSport. It’s been short but super sweet.Sad to leave this class crew but stoked to announce that starting Monday I will be the Flyers beat writer for the @PhillyInquirer. Can’t wait and bring on the cheesesteaks!

Spiegel’s Linkedin shows two decades of sports experience, mostly in hockey. She was recently a Deputy Editor for the Daily Express US/Daily Mirror US, and before that worked as a copy editor for the NHL. There’s a producer/editor gig with Sporting News also listed, with earlier stops at The American Street Hockey Institute, SNY, and ESPN.
She replaces Giana Han and Olivia Reiner, who worked the beat for the last two years. Jeff Neiburg was handling the Inquirer’s Flyers coverage in the interim. It sounds like there could be a further shuffle in the sports department as the Inquirer goes through another buyout round. We’ll ask around.
Kevin has been writing about Philadelphia sports since 2009. He spent seven years in the CBS 3 sports department and started with the Union during the team's 2010 inaugural season. He went to the academic powerhouses of Boyertown High School and West Virginia University. email - k.kinkead@sportradar.com
