See, now if Matt Barnaby is saying that, then you know Quitter messed up. Matthew Barnaby was the biggest asshole in the NHL, maybe all of sports, from about 1994 to 2002. We’re talking about a guy who started a massive brawl between the Flyers and Sabres, then went after Garth Snow because Snow was poking him with his stick. I could watch Barnaby and Rod Brind’Amour punch each other in the face all day long. What a pest and agitator Barnaby was, like Sean Avery, only 10x more of a dickhead. But if Barnaby understands the opportunity of playing for the Flyers, then Gauthier should have as well. Guy could have been a superstar here, playing in front of a loyal and dedicated fan base.
