You Can Make a Case for Bringing Back Maybe Two of the Eagles’ 20 Free Agents

Look at this list and tell me who needs to come back:
Eagles key free agents this off-season: DT Fletcher Cox, DE Brandon Graham, RB D’Andre Swift, WR Quez Watkins, G Iosua Opeta, LB Nicholas Morrow, LB Zach Cunningham, LB Shaquille Leonard, CB Bradley Roby, WR Olamide Zaccheaus, RB Boston Scott, QB Marcus Mariota, WR Julio Jones,… pic.twitter.com/62HXMjbJX1

Not sure how you feel about Cox and B.G., but I’m alright with them moving on. You have to turn the corner at some point, and you hope they realize it themselves before you find yourself in another Jason Peters situation. Sure, it’s shitty to go out on this kind of loss, but that’ll subside in no time. They both had legendary careers here and won a Super Bowl.
The other free agents Schefter did not mention in that tweet are Shaun Bradley, Albert O, Justin Evans, and Jack Stoll, who is restricted. Every other guy is a UFA, and we remove the retiring Jason Kelce from this list, via Spotrac:
According to Over the Cap, Rick Lovato (no relation to Demi) is also a free agent. He can stay.
Who else stays? Braden Mann. The fucking punter. Maybe they tender Jack Stoll, and D’Andre Swift can probably get a better deal and more touches elsewhere. With Kelce retiring, and Cam Jurgens moving to center, they’ll need some depth at the guard position, so that likely opens the door for Sua Opeta to stick around as a backup. Jack Driscoll could be a practice squad type of guy depending on how Tyler Steen progresses.
That’s about it. If you wanna make a case for keeping anybody else, you are more than welcome.
