I meant to post this earlier in the week, and forgot, but maybe it’s more appropriate after the Flyers lost their fourth straight game on Thursday night. Management won’t be raising season ticket prices for next season:

“This decision reflects our gratitude for your patience and support during this crucial year in our rebuild.”

That’s just one sentence, but it’s meaningful because of the continued admittance that this is, indeed, a rebuild. Nobody in management is experiencing delusions of grandeur. Nobody is thinking that a Stanley Cup run is imminent. This is, and always was, a rebuilding year.

It’s a new era of orange, motherfuckers.
