The Eagles’ New DLine Coach is an Absolute UNIT!

Look at this dude! No NFL coach has ever looked more like his name:
The #Eagles are expected to hire former #Seahawks defensive coordinator Clint Hurtt as their D-line coach, per sources.
Sweeping staff changes continue under Nick Sirianni, who also is expected to hire one of Hurtt’s assistants in Seattle, Karl Scott, to coach DBs. pic.twitter.com/JlGbVqiy2U

Hurtt was promoted to the defensive coordinator role last year for the Seahawks, but after Pete Carroll was fired the team cleaned house. His defensive line unit finished tied for 11th in the league with 47 sacks. The Eagles finished with 43 and that was with Matt Patricia dropping our best defensive ends into coverage. Something that Hurtt doesn’t agree with…not that I would’ve said anything to him if he did want to:
Asked about dropping defensive linemen into coverage, Clint Hurtt wanted to make it very clear about his D-line: “I don’t want to see guys going backwards.” So, yeah, that’s a wrap.

I love this guy. Here’s a free idea for the Eagles social media team next season. Clint Hurtt holding normal everyday items:
Hope the Eagles social team make Clint Hurtt holding things a series pic.twitter.com/SKhNcHliM0

Start with Boston Scott and Howie first. I’d watch this:
Good luck to Dre Greenlaw next year. Try that shit with Clint Hurtt and Dom DiSandro on the sidelines:

Is there even going to be enough sideline for these two next year?
