The Eagles Will Not Be Running the Philly Special With Jalen Hurts in the Super Bowl Next Year

Next year, during Super Bowl 59, when it’s 4th and goal and the Eagles need to make a statement, have Kellen Moore call anything other than Philly Philly:
Jalen Hurts was *THAT CLOSE* to catching the Philly Special 😅

LOL! Nice hands, feet! On the sixth anniversary, no less!
Does Jalen’s lack of ability to run a Philly Special worry you for his future? 610-632…

I mean CeeDee Lamb did airmail that a little. But Jalen would be the first one to tell you that if you get two hands on the ball, you gotta come down with it. And who needs that play when you have the Brotherly Shove for mop up duty every time you’re inside the five? Not the Eagles.
Sidenote: I love seeing Jalen Hurts having fun on the football field. I wish we saw more of this side of him. Don’t get me wrong, I love a guy who wants to win at all costs. That’s the dude I want on the front line leading the troops in the 4th quarter when my team is down. He knows when to have fun and when to lock in and win a ballgame. Still, it was cool to see him smile for the first time I think ever on a football field and realize he’s not just some robot the media criticizes for not inspiring his teammates. Look at the franchise front and center celebrating like he just won the Super Bowl:

Amazing stuff. I need more fun Jalen next year. Enough with Martin Luther Hurts Jr. schtick and the quotes from The Book of Jalen. Let it rip and enjoy yourself:
