Sixers the First Team to Win a Playoff Game, Down 6 with the Ball in the Final 30 Seconds of the 4th Quarter

This is crazy:
NBA Playoff teams down 6 with the ball in final 30 seconds of 4th quarter were 0-141 before Sixers-Knicks per @bball_ref.
Now 1-141. pic.twitter.com/vxZHI4G1s8

Now, sometimes when you get these wacky NBA stats, they’re totally stupid and arbitrary. Someone will just pick four random stats and four arbitrary thresholds and tweet out something like “Pascal Siakam is the first non-American player ever to average 23.4 points and 9.245678 rebounds with a true shooting percentage of 57.4 in a year when there’s a total solar eclipse.” Then a bunch of goofballs go “oh man that’s crazy!” even though a nerd pulled it out of their rear end.
This stat is cool though. The fact that there have been 142 instances of this happening and only once has it ever actually happened. Now we have to move on to Game 6, which is 9 p.m. for some reason. Good for people with kids, but annoying for everyone else. It does give us more time, however, to get down there and set up the barricades. To keep Knicks fans out.
