“Dallas Still Sucks,” Proclaims Most Valuable Philadelphian Brandon Graham

Brandon Graham was honored on Monday night by the Philadelphia Visitor Center:
“And Dallas still sucks,” is how @brandongraham55 punctuated his award as the Most Valuable Philadelphian last night. More coverage today at 4. @NBCPhiladelphia pic.twitter.com/EJpAn8B6fQ

Dallas does indeed suck, but they won the division last year, which was unacceptable. For B.G.’s retirement tour, we want at least 9.5 sacks and Dak Prescott driven so hard through the Earth’s crust that the entire line of scrimmage ends up in China.
The Philadelphia Visitor Center Corporation honored Brandon Graham with its inaugural Most Valuable Philadelphian (MVP) Award during its Philly Opener event on Monday, May 20, 2024.
What makes the longtime Philadelphia Eagles defensive lineman the city’s MVP? He has been “exemplifying the city’s values and impacting people’s lives on and off the field,” the PVCC said.
…
Graham on Monday said even as his football career comes to an end, his work in the community is just beginning.
“I think it is just a start,” Graham said. “Yeah, this is my last year as a player, but I got so much more to offer this city and, you know, we only scratching the surface. Because when I’m done I expect to be here, still working for the team.”
A nice honor indeed. There are plenty of candidates for Most Valuable Philadelphian. I’d nominate Kyle Pagan for his philanthropic efforts, or perhaps Richard Harkaway, the urologist who flipped Russell Westbrook the double birds.
