Non-taxpayer mid-level exception for the Warriors. Melton is a good player who couldn’t stay healthy last season. He had the back injury, tried to return, re-injured it, and that was it. Just wish he could have hit a shot in Game 6 or 7 against the Celtics the year prior. 0-5 in Game 6 and 3-10 in Game 7. A combined 1-9 from three with two chances to eliminate the Celtics. Damn. Best of luck to him out there in California. Seemed like a good dude, but we’ve got a second round to get out of. We move on.
