Furk with a farewell message here:

Good photo choices from Korkmaz. He’s ringing the bell in picture 1 while being doused with water by Raul Neto and Josh Richardson. Photo 2 he just knocked down a triple and in photo 3 it’s the game winner in Portland.

Final Philly stats for Furk: 328 games played, 49 starts, 6.8 PPG, 2 rebounds PG, 1.5 APG. It looked like he might be a serviceable bench option early on, then he had the Lisfranc injury. Then there were reports he was going back to Turkey but he stayed here for a few more years, playing about 20 minutes per game from 2019 to 2021 before falling down the depth chart after a poor shooting season. He shot 40% from three at one point, then regressed and fell out of the rotation, playing just 35 games for Nick Nurse at 8.6 minutes per this past season.

Nice guy though, solid dude. Best of luck to Furk. We’ll always have that 14-point bench performance in Game 3 of the Atlanta series. And we’ll miss the Rich Hofmann “Kork has been popped” tweets.
