ATTA BOY ARCIA!

What a cornball. Guy has been waiting 10 months to do that? He hits a two run shot, stares down Harper while rounding 1st base, and then watches his team cough up a 2-0 lead and lose 3-2. That’s the chef’s kiss right there. Funniest part is that the Phillies didn’t even look good in this game. It was the definition of grinding out a win, with two sac flies and Kyle Schwarber scoring Edmundo Sosa with a ground out to shortstop. Then Carlos Estevez walked the leadoff batter in the ninth and we had Whit fuckin’ Merrifield mercifully ground out to end the game with runners on 2nd and 3rd.

If you have no clue what this is all about, Arcia was talking shit about Harper in the Braves’ clubhouse after they took Game 2 of the NLDS last year. Harper then homered twice in Game 3, stared Arcia down as he was rounding the bases, and then Arcia later said through an interpreter that Harper wasn’t supposed to hear what was said in the locker room. Travis d’Arnaud whined about the clubhouse being a “sanctuary” and then Alanna Rizzo apologized for calling Fox Sports’ Jake Mintz a “jackoff.” What a time to be alive.
