Bill Belichick Says the Patriots Gameplanned for Jason Kelce’s Pulling

Great clip right here, some good inside information about how the Patriots studied Jason Kelce while game planning on the defensive side:

“I don’t want to see him leading somebody outside the numbers.”

That’s pretty cool, because as Belichick mentions, you typically game plan for skill players, like receivers, running backs, and tight ends. You try to limit a quarterback, obviously, but nobody game plans for a center. It confirms what most Eagles fans would identify as Kelce’s best skill – that ability to quickly pull and get to the next level and clean out linebackers and safeties. He was always a good anchor, identified defenses and called out coverages, and of course blocked well enough in pass protection, but the Jason Kelce highlight reel begins and ends with plays like these:
