Yeah it was the Eagles’ season-opener, but gotta shout out the Phillies before passing out. They put this one away before the NFL kickoff:

The only blemish was J.T. Realmuto leaving the game with a bruised knee, which hopefully is not too bad.

Otherwise:

  • Kyle Schwarber: 2 hits and a Schwarbomb
  • Trea Turner: 3 RBI
  • Bryce Harper: 3 hits, 2 RBI
  • Buddy Kennedy: got into the game but didn’t get to the plate
  • Edmundo Sosa: scored a run
  • Nick Castellanos: one hit
  • Cal Stevenson: one hit
  • Bryson Stott: 2 hits, 2 RBI
  • J.T. – 2 hits, 2 RBI before leaving
  • Garrett Stubbs: RBI
  • Brandon Marsh: a hit
  • Weston Wilson: a hit
  • Kody Clemens: three hits, RBI
  • Johan Rojas: 3 hits, 2 RBI

Everybody hits. The Phillies have won six in a row and have an eight-game division lead. The Eagles are 1-0. We are so back.
