The Eagles Were Never Losing With Voodoo On Their Side

Does this statement make sense? – That was the worst game of all-time, but it didn’t feel like the worst game of all-time in the moment. That’s how I’m trying to convey how that game made me feel. Every time I wanted to yell about Nick Sirianni not taking the points I looked up at the scoreboard and remembered it was 3-0 and felt at peace. Why? Because I knew the voodoo spirits of Ogun and Shango were on our side:

I never want to make this all about me, but we’re 1-0 since I went to Papa Zaar and made an offering to Ogun. That’s not me bragging. That’s just facts.

Did Saquon drop a ball? Don’t think so:

How else can you explain the defense playing with a warrior spirit? You can’t. It was the spirit of Ogun and my offering. That little sweetener probably didn’t hurt either if we’re being honest. Imagine if that motherfucker Shango got his act together and showed up (respectfully). Knock, knock, knock! Anyone home?

Again respectfully.

I’ll see Ogun back here in February.
