Three hits and two RBI for Castellanos, who earlier in the game was sarcastically jeered by the crowd after laying off a pitch in the dirt. He responded to that with a big hit before Bryson Stott’s triple, then knocked in the game-winner in the bottom of the 9th.
Can’t wait to hear what the guy has to say in the locker room. He wasn’t asked about the earlier scenario by the FOX reporter, who asked some generic questions about the game instead. But the local beats will no doubt bring it up.
More importantly – the series is tied. They fought back a couple of times and got the job done after it looked like they were going to blow it again. Game 3 in New York on Tuesday.
