If You’re Not Hate Watching the Mets as a Phillies Fan You’re Missing Out on Some Peak Content

I hope Phillies fans aren’t afraid to share in the NLCS Mets misery because they sent the Phillies golfing. I’d honestly rather be golfing than sit through the suffering of whatever this homestand against the Dodgers is. They’ve been outscored 18-2 in two games, their pitching stinks, MLB fans around the globe are screaming the Mets were only grand slam merchants, and you can hear Mets fans’ anger clearly since the stadium becomes a ghost town by the 7th inning:

FOX has shown nothing but sad Mets fans the last 48 hours and it’s been amazing. If you stopped watching baseball because the Phillies ripped your heart out you don’t know what you’re missing. There is nothing better than hate watching your mortal enemy to see them get embarrassed night after night. I’m telling you it’s the greatest consolation prize a person can ask for. Misery loves company. Tonight could be your last chance to relish in the despair.

I mean look at all of these characters. We have sad Grimace throughout the stadium coping:

Every single face somehow looks even sadder than the one before:

Good news is these Mets fans won’t have to give up anything because they’re not going to come close to sniffing the World Series:

“I’d give up my bank account.” How about Mr. Wall Street over here flexing? Save some chicks for the rest of us guy!
