There it is folks. The end of an era. Insert the Vince Carter 2000 NBA Dunk Contest “It’s over!” gif. Villanofun will never be able to beat the “not a Philly school” allegations ever again.  The argument is as dead as the Chiefs dynasty. How can you be open during the Eagles parade if you’re a Philly school? Spoiler alert – you can’t:

Temple off. La Salle off. St. Joe’s off. Drexel off. Even those dorks at Penn who crave daily literature and have the unquenchable thirst to break a mental sweat are off. Villanova? Business as usual. That’s what happens of course when you’re 12 miles from the border of Philadelphia. Kinker better update his Is Villanova a Philly School? Please Stop Using the “City Limits” Argument article because the city limits argument has never been stronger! I mean even Gloucester City School District gave their students off! The Gloucester City Lions are more of a Philly school than Villanova at this point.

This feels like Villanova turning their back on the Birds. Like they really are New York sports fans now that a bunch of alumni play for the Knicks. They’re probably going to have a Statue of Liberty replace the chapel and Nathan’s Famous replace the Hatfield Meats hot dogs in the dining hall. Hmm…interesting:
