Flyers Flip Andrei Kuzmenko for a Draft Pick

First Flyers move on deadline day:

Flyers retain 50% of Kuzmenko’s cap hit. 27 3rd going to Philly https://t.co/rCCt1sjGUI

Kuzmenko came over in the salary dump-ish trade that saw Morgan Frost and Joel Farabee send to Calgary. He was on an expiring deal and hitting free agency, so Danny Briere flipped him to a playoff team and got back a 3rd round draft pick two years from now. That’s probably the best bit of business you can do in a situation like this one. Kuzmenko ended up playing seven games in Philly.
FWIW, it’s being reported that Scott Laughton is not on the ice Friday afternoon, and there are some Risto rumors out there as well:
No Scott Laughton on the ice today for Flyers practice, which is certainly noteworthy.

Flyers update. Big ask on Ristolainen. 1st, prospect and player. Decent chance he stays in Philly. Hard to replace. Teams that missed on Nelson are circling on Laughton and the price is a haul.
