The CJGJ and Eagles Offseason Rollercoaster Ride is Playing Out Again

The Eagles and CJGJ aftermath is playing out like it did the first time, with veiled shots all over social media. After Vic Fangio mentioned in his Tuesday press conference that the reason they got rid of him was a salary cap move, CJGJ posted on his story refuting that allegation:
CJGJ wasn’t afraid to make his thoughts known after he was traded, going on IG live and saying “people showing their true colors,” which is funny because hours later he seemed to understand this was just a salary thing, saying while live-streaming that “It was no bad blood.. Them young guys just gotta get paid down there.” I guess Fangio’s comments didn’t sit well with him and it’ll unravel over the course of next season like it typically does when CJGJ is traded or not re-signed. He argued online with Lions fans last year after he signed back in Philly. This is just the CJGJ playbook. You can’t take the junkyard dog out of the boneyard. That chip on his shoulder is what gives him that edge on the field and he’s backed it up everywhere he’s went. You can’t deny now that CJGJ has spent two years on the Birds, in two different schemes, and on two top-5 defenses that he can’t talk his shit because he backs it up. He helped us win a Super Bowl so he can have whatever outbursts he wants online especially when he inevitably comes back in a year or two.
I gotta imagine mixing CJGJ and the Fangman is like mixing oil and water. Just couldn’t be two more different personalities. This was never going to work out long term. It’s like that toxic girlfriend you put up with even though you both know you’re not right for each other. It’s just that the sex is absolutely amazing and when you guys are good it’s good. But when it’s bad it is really, really bad and emotionally draining. She keyed your car and alluded to you having a small dick on her Instagram story (it’s average). It’s like ice cream for me. I know it’s not good for me and it’s keeping me from getting absolutely chiseled, but I’m still going to eat it every single night. CJGJ is this temptation that Howie Roseman can’t quit. He’s a spearmint Zyn and Howie is an impressionable teenager.
