Ace Bailey Looks Thrilled to be Going to Utah

Ace Bailey get ready to learn LDS Church, buddy:
There was some scuttlebutt that Bailey didn’t want to go to Utah, but the Jazz took him anyway and plan to keep him. You can’t always get what you want, as The Rolling Stones once said. That’s why it’s a draft. So now they’re writing their headlines at the Jersey papers – “From Middlesex to Mormonism – Rutgers’ Bailey Heads West to Get Up 20 Shots Per Game in Relative Obscurity.”
No clue what this kid or his agent were looking for at the end of the day, but hopefully he finds it out there. The Jazz won 17 games this past season, so he gets to be a key piece in a rebuild. No immediate pressure, no challenge to win a spot and get on the floor. That feels like… a pretty good situation? Maybe he ends up being a star, and we all do some revisionist Sixers history years from now, but let this serve as documentation that the majority of the fan base was OUT on Ace Bailey on draft night 2025, because they just didn’t understand what he and his agent were doing.
