It’s Never a Bad Day to Relive the Double Doink, Which Seems to Still Be Haunting Matt Nagy

Matt Nagy was on Jason and Travis Kelce’s New Heights podcast, where they reminisced on the “Double Doink” –
Very generous of Jason Kelce to say he might still be the Bears coach if they win that game. Some of those Nagy years in Chicago with Justin Fields and Mitch Trubisky were horrifying. That confused Nagy look on the sideline is seared into my noggin and plenty of Bears fans’ noggins for eternity. Time was ticking.
Sure, Nagy has landed on his feet and he’s got a couple Super Bowls in his trophy case thanks to Patrick Mahomes, but after this year do you think he despises the Eagles? His two most embarrassing losses of his career are now at the hands of the Birds. They had no business losing the “Double Doink” game and then in February the best QB in the NFL looks helpless from the coin flip. Wouldn’t be surprised if Nagy does the Dwyane Wade waking up gif every couple of weeks:
