We Had Some Vintage Merrill Reese Calls During the Eagles’ Win Over the Chiefs

While it wasn’t the dominating performance akin to seven months ago in Super Bowl LIX, the Philadelphia Eagles defeated the Kansas City Chiefs, again, Sunday afternoon by a score of 20-17.

The Eagles were up 20-10 and in pretty firm control of the game before a late Chiefs score, much like the late points back in February, cut it a little too close. But, not to worry, because all Jalen Hurts does is win football games.

Merrill Reese and Mike Quick were once again on the call for SportsRadio 94WIP, and gave us some vintage Merrill and Mike:

Merrill and Mike had me on one Sunday afternoon. It felt like a playoff game. Don’t let Chiefs fans fool you. They wanted this. They needed this. They’ve lost three straight games against the Eagles (including one Super Bowl) since they stole Super Bowl LVII.
