The NFL released the Hard Knocks In Season with the NFC East trailer today. It’ll premiere on December 2nd after the Eagles play the Bears on Black Friday:

With everything surrounding the Eagles this just became appointment television for fans. Will it be filled with locker room drama like everyone outside of the organization thinks or will everything be completely overblown like Jeff McLane says? Chances are we get no answers because these teams sign off on what gets released and what doesn’t, but it’ll still be fun to speculate about what we do see! To be honest, the trailer was pretty dull. A couple pedestrian mic’d up soundbites, a lot of footage from the Eagles Super Bowl season last year, and a sizzle of NFL highlights. Where is the drama? Where is the turmoil? Are cameras not allowed in there yet? They have to have more footage than this. One thing I request is more equipment guy footage. This was an awesome behind the scenes. What a bunch of characters:

All I can confirm is we’re going to get some epic Nick Sirianni teaching moments. I’m talking flowers analogies on steroids. What I remember from the AFC North version last year is HBO went heavy on the team meetings. We got other moments like Joe Burrow’s Batmobile and Justin Tucker’s downfall, but Mike Tomlin stole the series with his passion. We’ll also hopefully get insight when the refs bone us on a Tush Push call now:

Also will we finally be able to learn if AJ Brown and Jalen Hurts are going rogue? Is Big Dom going to get a cameo or two? Does Joe Schoen embarrass himself more than he did the last time he was on HBO? Hopefully it’ll have a storybook ending as we watch the Eagles become the first back-to-back NFC East division winner since 2004.
