I love Kalshi. You can trade on the dumbest things possible. I can’t wait until they allow us to trade on guys hitting the transfer portal. It would’ve made losing Zion Stanford to Villanova a little less hard to deal with. Anyway, this weekend they’ve given us an early Christmas present and an amazing opportunity to trade on what Joe Davis, Greg Olsen, and Pam Oliver will say on Saturday’s broadcast:
This is what 2025 is all about. Do I think Joe Davis will mention turf when the Commanders play on grass? No! But he could. That’s the thrill!
I love that Kalshi didn’t even waste their time putting “out,” “of,” “his,” or “life” trades knowing Davis couldn’t control himself from that line:
“What a catch!” is in play though. I love it’s value at 33%. A trade of $100 would pay out $304 right now. I also think “Roughing the passer” has tremendous value. Jalen Hurts rarely is on the other end of a roughing the passer penalty or late hit (another phrase on Kalshi with good value), but with the way this Eagles defense is flying around the ball they could get one on Marcus Mariota. If “Roughing the passer” hits, Christmas presents are free this season! Do it. Joe! Throw out a “Roughing the passer” for all of us in Philly just because! You’ve still got some explaining to do for that awful game you called against the Commanders last year:
