There Has Been “Incredible” Demand for Phish Night at the Flyers Game
Flyers press release:
PHILADELPHIA, PA (December 22, 2025) – Today, due to incredible fan demand, the Philadelphia Flyers are adding for “Phish Night at the Flyers” at Xfinity Mobile Arena on Thursday, January 8, when the Flyers host the Toronto Maple Leafs.
The evening features a pre-game and post-game concert featuring Rift, a Philadelphia-area Phish cover band which will now take place inside Stateside Live (next door to Xfinity Mobile Arena). All fans who purchase a ticket through the Flyers group sales team to Phish Night at the Flyers can choose between a pre- or post-game concert at Stateside Live!. Fans who purchase the package will also receive a limited-edition, one-of-a-kind, Phish-Flyers T-shirt, which will be available for redemption at Xfinity Mobile Arena on game night.
Special tickets are required for this package. Fans interested in attending Phish Night at the Flyers can purchase tickets here.
This is honestly not surprising. Phish fans are a dedicated bunch. They go to all the shows and support that band like no other. They make Dave Matthews fans look like amateurs, and we know that there are people out there who have seen Dave at least 27 years in a row in Camden (shout out KL).
Each ticket for “Phish Night with the Flyers” includes a limited-edition Flyers X Phish co-branded t-shirt. There is a pregame and postgame concert from the Phish cover band that will be hosted by WMMR’s Casey Boy. According to the schedule, the Stateside Live! doors open at 4 p.m., then the first set is from 5 p.m. to 6:30 p.m., which allows Rift to play at least two songs, maybe three. Then the second set begins 30 minutes after the conclusion of the game.
It should really be a great week in South Philly. The Flyers will be coming off their annual “Disney on Ice” road trip to host the Anaheim Ducks, in which we will boo the ever-living shit out of Quitter Gauthier. Then we’ve got a Phish cover band in town 48 hours later, playing not one, but TWO sets down there. If this doesn’t get you Flyered Up, then you’re dead inside.
