Can’t make this stuff up:

Not much detail in the release, which is one sentence long. If Kepler was juicing (allegedly) during this past Phillies’ season, it didn’t enhance his performance very much. He hit .216 and logged a .691 OPS in the regular season, then finished the playoffs with two hits and three walks.

He was, HOWEVER, much better in the second half, slashing .228/.318/.474 in September with a .792 OPS and ten RBI in 17 games. In August he logged a .789 OPS while hitting .273 and slugging .491.
