Not sure how many people saw this, but Tony Bruno and Harry Mayes are reunited for a handful of shows this week on 1210 WPHT:

The background here is that Rich Zeoli is no longer doing the afternoon drive show for Audacy’s conservative talk station. Instead, he’s hosting an eponymous daily podcast, running one hour and hosted by Audacy. They’ve been using a rotating cast of hosts between 3 p.m. and 6 p.m. and Zeoli’s podcast airs from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. Maybe there’s a chance that Bruno and/or Mayes are in the mix as possible permanent replacements, but no clue honestly. We’ll have to effort more on that.

RE: Zeoli, he started appearing on Fox News several years ago and those appearances have seemed to increase in recent months. He’s on about 1-2 times a week now as a panel guest or weekend co-host. He often appears alongside Jimmy Failla, who does the “Fox Across America” show and then the 10 p.m. Saturday night show as well.

WPHT’s current lineup includes Nick Kayal in the morning, Dawn Stensland at 10 a.m., then Dom Giordano at noon. So today and tomorrow they will have 50% of the dayparts filled by former 97.5 the Fanatic sports talk hosts. What if they replace all of the talent with former Fanatic hosts? Could be entertaining. I’d listen to Eytan Shander complain about Kaepernick on middays and then let’s throw Mikey Miss in there just to balance things out and give the liberal perspective. Mike would be like the Alan Colmes of WPHT.

*disclaimer: this is not a political post, we’re just doing jokes here. we did a Mamdani socialism joke recently, to be fair and balanced
