Dude lol. You’ve got to be kidding me. That’s gonna be one of those snapshot moments that we see over and over again, from now until the collapsing of the star that sustains life on Earth.

41 saves for Connor Hellebuyck on 42 shots. He was sick. You take that moment and combine it with the 5v3 that the Americans fought off and those are the two grittiest moments of the game, right? Canada was all over Team USA to start the third period and there were moments where you felt like they were gonna break through and go on to win it. They’d get a crap penalty or something and put their ridiculous PP unit out there. But Team USA fought off everything Canada threw at them.

It wasn’t just that they won the game, it’s HOW they won the game. One of the great all-time moments in American sports.
