Projecting him to suddenly erupt and flirt with the 20-point mark is wildly optimistic. The Grizzlies might be miserable defending the perimeter, but they aren’t going to roll out a red carpet to the rim just so Oubre can artificially inflate his season averages. Stick to the under.
Quentin Grimes Under 18.5 Points
Grimes was the Monday night pick to score at least 20 points, and couldn’t get the job done in Cleveland. Over the course of the season, he’s compiled 743 points across 58 appearances. For those allergic to calculators, that translates to roughly 12.8 points per game. Asking him to effortlessly cruise past 18 points tonight with Edgecombe possibly playing is a little iffy.
