If we know anything about 40-something WVU graduates with graying beards, longish hair, and multiple children, it’s that they are honorable individuals. We’re talking about principled men and women who step up and take responsibility for their actions, unlike Pitt alumni. You’d never see a greaseball Yinzer do something like this.

But what’s more important is that Gansey finds a way to get people to give a shit about the Sixers in 2026 and 2027. Swept by the Knicks? INEXCUSABLE! You gotta do whatever it takes. Trade Joel Embiid, trade Paul George, trade the entire team – whatever. Otherwise we’re back to “wake me up when the playoffs begin” for the umpteenth season in a row. This franchise needs an injection of life. We need some jam in the building. I don’t know what exactly Gansey can do to get the fans excited again, but we know he can pull off some ridiculous shit, like scoring 29 points in a double overtime win against Wake Forest.
