John Kincade will be replaced on the 97.5 the Fanatic morning show by Jon Marks.

The in-house move was announced at 3 p.m. –

Coming up first, a brand-new morning show, joining Andrew Salciunas in the morning, the one and only Jonny Marks, for a brand-new morning show, Marks and Salciunas,” said afternoon host Bill Colarulo.

It was revealed that Sean Brace and Ray Dunne will handle middays with Connor Thomas.

This is a very boring move, a simple re-arranging of the deck chairs by moving Marks to a different shift and handing off middays to Sean and Ray. Beasley saves money by getting back Kincade’s salary without making a corresponding hire, despite, sources tell Crossing Broad, consideration of doing just that. They did have talks with some external candidates and went for the predictable move instead.

Nobody should be surprised at all.

What’s funny/sad/ironic is that one of the reasons Marks left WIP a few years back is because he was looking for better hours. He was interested in middays, and landed on middays at the Fanatic. Now he’s off to morning drive and and the family schedule gets changed up again. (I am spitballing here, maybe it’s not a big deal). He did work mornings at the Fanatic back in the day with Anthony Gargano, and way back during the 950 AM days.

That’s all for now.

EDIT – I will say I think it’s weird to break up Jon and Sean shortly after they got back together. There was chemistry there. But whatever.
