This tweet just came across my desk, and it’s brought me some real joy: a very healthy-looking Delonte West posted an Instagram Story video of himself riding a bike around Florida after announcing he was 100 days sober back in March:

This is what’s up. Hell yeah. Right on, Delonte. It’s awesome to see him looking good and having fun and enjoying Florida. Those are three of the best things in life. If you’re here reading CrossingBroad.com, you’re probably well aware that Delonte has struggled with substance abuse in recent years, which makes it a pretty special thing to see him looking this good. He also appears to be wearing his own Celtics jersey, which is cool as hell. Makes you wonder why NBA players don’t do this everywhere they go every single day. I would do this. Imagine it’d feel very powerful.

Everyone online is saying he’s now ten months sober (I can’t find Delonte personally saying that anywhere, so I guess everyone’s just assuming it because he hit the 100-day mark in March and he seems to be doing great), which would be amazing. I’m pumped to see it, and I’m not alone there:
