Woof:

Possibly the season?

It’s September 22nd, Week 3 in the NFL, and Jaxson Dart might be done for the year. Jayden Daniels dislocated his elbow. Caleb Williams injured his hamstring. The Eagles are going into Chicago thinking that they might face Case Keenum now that Tyson Bagent is dealing with concussion symptoms.

Half of the NFC East’s starting quarterbacks are already on the shelf, and that really sucks. Does it make things easier for the Eagles? Yes, of course. But nobody here is cheering for injuries. Nobody wants injuries. We want full health, high-level football with all of these guys on the field. We don’t want to see Jalen Hurts vs. Marcus Mariota and Jameis Winston. The Giants and the Commanders were both beginning to turn a corner and we wanted their best shot with their best players. Now we’re looking at another divisional slog with the Cowboys assuming that Hurts and Dak Prescott avoid injury themselves.

The Birds play the Commanders on November 1st and Giants on November 8th. The second New York game is in Week 18, to end the season. Without having any definitive timeline on these quarterback injuries, it’s hard to know what to expect, but we don’t want more backup baloney. We want the best that the Giants and the Commies have to offer. It really blows for their fans because they finally come upon a couple of franchise quarterbacks, only for both to be banged up.
