The Cowboys are a disgrace.

They lost at home to the 0-4 Buccaneers and then this happened:

Cowboys QB Dak Prescott got cat-called by someone in the tunnel. Someone called out “embarrassing!” Prescott heard it, said something back, and then pointed the person out to a Cowboys employee. pic.twitter.com/5qImPdjT1s

Everybody in this video was embarrassing on Thursday night.

Dak’s performance was embarrassing. The two interceptions probably were not his fault, and should have been caught by NFL players, but he missed a wide-open Jake Ferguson on a fourth down and a wide-open CeeDee Lamb on a busted coverage. That would have gone for a walk-in touchdown if Dak had connected on it. He left a bunch of plays out there.

As for the employee who chirped Dak? If you’re gonna do that you gotta follow through. If this guy turned his head and/or ran away afterward, he is an embarrassment.

And the Cowboys staffer who walked back to look for him is also an embarrassment. Just let it go.

Though, to be fair, It doesn’t seem like Dak was particularly heated about the situation. It’s not like he dragged the staffer with him to point out the chirper. But the staffer guy went looking anyway, which was corny.

More than anything, the Cowboys defense is an embarrassment. Boy do they stink. And the Eagles are banged up and may not be anything special this season, so if there was ever a time to retake the NFC East, it’s this year. Who’s gonna win this dumb division now, the Giants?
