The Joe Milton Era is Officially Underway in Philadelphia
According to Schefty and Mike Garafolo:
Is Milton good? Maybe. Maybe not. But at least we don’t have to watch Tanner McKee again, which might not be fair. Most quarterbacks will look poor without DeVonta Smith and Dontayvion Wicks. Most will struggle with a banged-up Saquon Barkley while playing behind a less-than-stellar offensive line. It’s really nothing against McKee; I think we all just need a reason to even tune in right now, and watching a different quarterback start the game will do the trick.
Milton has played in five NFL games, but none as a starter. The most notable performance came back in January of 2025, when he led the Patriots to a 23-16 win over the Buffalo backups. He threw for 241 yards and a touchdown on 22-29 passing and ran the ball 10 times for 16 yards and a score.
In parts of four regular season Dallas games, he went 15-24 for 183 yards, a touchdown, and two picks. He ran the ball 5 times for 50 yards in those games.
