James Franklin Accidentally Facetimed a Random Penn State Fan

It’s National Signing Day, and many recruits are declaring where they’ll spend their college careers, talking to coaches, and holding press conferences. Penn State coach James Franklin was busy Facetime-ing with future Nittany Lions when he accidentally videochatted with a random PSU fan. Like every other Facetime in history not between a parent and their small child, it was probably pretty awkward.
According to ESPN, Franklin was trying to chat with Shareef Miller, “a defensive end recruit from Philadelphia,” when he accidentally dialed up Aleem Medley. Medley isn’t a Penn State recruit. Medley is just some dude. Thankfully, he’s a PSU fan and not a psycho, so it all ended well. Franklin should work on his technology skills though. He’s (as everyone is) one DM-sent-as-Tweet away from a scandal, and a misdialed Facetime is a slippery slope.
When he's not writing about sports here or ranting about them on Twitter, Jim is probably watching X-Files on Netflix or drinking a beer somewhere. Jim has nothing against hockey, it's just not his style. He once met Duce Staley at a Sixers game.
