Reports: The Eagles Just Fired Two of Their Top Scouts
By Kyle Scott
Published:
As you can see, Patch and Mueller – still employees on the Eagles’ website – were number two and three in the scouting department, just behind young man Ed Mayonnaise, Chip’s footballs ops guy. Beat writers are already quick to point out these were Howie Roseman’s guys– he hired Mueller and promoted Patch. And Jeff McLane says it’s typical for a new GM to purge his scouting staff after the draft. So I wouldn’t read too much into this other than: Charles is in charge.*
*Holy fuck– how have I not made this a t-shirt yet?
Side note: LOVE how someone named Louis Clark is tasked with going out an exploring football in the vast expanse that is America. It’s like the person who sews the logos on the jerseys being named Betts C. Ross.
