Well at least he’s not a murderer… right?
Multiple reports have the Cowboys signing free agent offensive lineman La’el Collins, who was projected to go in the first round but went undrafted last week due to the fact that he was being questioned by police in the murder of an ex-girlfriend, who was pregnant at the time. The baby was delivered alive, but died days later. A DNA test showed Collins was not the father, and he seems to in the clear with regard to the case.
Adam Schefter reports that Collins’ deal – three years, $1.65 million – is fully guaranteed.
