Howard Eskin Got At Least 25 Write-In Votes for Mayor, 24 More than Deez Nuts

Before Jim Kenney became your next Mayor in a huge landslide, Howard Eskin was running a write-in campaign. Well, he was actually selling Eskin for Mayor shirts (that raised money for CHOP), but he got a couple of votes anyway. How many? According to Brian Hickey, Eskin accumulated around 25 votes in the 216-page stack provided to the PhillyVoice. Those estimated 25 write-in votes are roughly 24 more than these mayoral candidates received:
- Mumia Abu-Jamal
- Baby Pope
- Barack Obama
- Deez Nuts
And when you expand that to include votes for other offices, Eskin had 24 more votes than:
- Jerome Brown
- Cheesegod 69
- Donald Duck
- Bill Cosby
- Brock Lesnar
- Allen Iverson
- Mickey Morandini
- Adolf Hitler
- Your Mom
That’s surprising. I really thought Your Mom would get more votes. Honestly.
