This will look sooo nice on a Phillies jersey
ZOMG! World Series games while you’re actually up.
MLB announced today that most World Series games would start at 7:57PM, approx 30 minutes earlier than last year’s games. The exceptions are Game 3, which will start at 6:57 PM- the earliest start time since 1987- and Game 4, which will start when FOX's NFL coverage concludes around 8:20.
This move was made to appease fans who complained the late finishes (that’s what she said).
I actually enjoyed the “deep into the night” thing, it added a layer of drama to the games in a weird way. But it didn't make for the best of mornings.
Here’s the full schedule, courtesy of FanHouse. I will now go back to counting all of these unhatched eggs.
Game 1: AL Champion at NL Champion FOX 7:57 (7:30) Oct. 27
Game 2: AL Champion at NL Champion FOX 7:57 (7:30) Oct. 28
