Jay Wright was just named Naismith National Coach of the Year at an awards brunch in Houston, where he is wearing a predictably fly suit:

This is a well-deserved honor for the man who has improved to 20-10 in the NCAA Tournament with Villanova, tying Rollie Massimino for most tournament wins in school history, and whose team held Perry Ellis and Buddy Hield to a combined 13 points in the Elite 8 and Final Four.

If you’re keeping score at home (I am), Jay has now won the award twice– in 2006 and this year. Bill Self has won it once. That’s because Jay Wright is a better coach.
