The Phillies Called Up Tommy Joseph
By Kyle Scott
Published:

Once forgotton and even waived this offseason, the Phillies have called up Tommy Joseph to make his Major League debut. Joseph, received from the Giants in the awful (or was it?) Hunter Pence trade, was hitting .347 with a .981 OPS, six home runs and 17 RBIs with the Iron Pigs this year. He’ll likely play first against lefties.
