A new Pennsylvania Historical Marker – those blue and yellow signs you see all over the more historical parts of the city – was erected today to honor the late Harvey “SuperStat” Pollack. The legendary stat-man, who worked with the NBA from its inception to his death last year, was the inventor of stats like rebounds, assists, and turnovers.

Pollack was also known for his extensive t-shirt collection and being the guy who wrote the “100” on the paper Wilt Chamberlain held after scoring triple-digits. Those couldn’t make the marker though. Gotta cram as much on that sign as you can, though.
