VICE Talks Shirley Temples, Kansas, and the Sixers with Joel Embiid

“I used to be ass,” Joel Embiid tells Vice’s camera crew as they drove him around Philly this winter(?) for their Ride Along series. In the video he talks about Kansas (“Coach Roberts was worried [Bill Self] wasn’t going to like me, but by the end of the practice, he was like ‘Are you fucking kidding me?'”), his “three to four pitchers a day” Shirley Temple habit which the Sixers have – I think – gotten him off of, and all the “dumb shit” he tweets.
We haven’t seen JoJo on the court yet, but this is probably the most access we’ve been given to him since draft night.
