Scottie Reynolds to Italy
By Kyle Scott
Published:
Scottie Reynolds has accepted an offer to play in Itlay for Prima Veroli (sounds like a prosciutto hoagie at Primos).
He will sign a one-year contract with the team. Reynolds says the offer "blew [him] out of the water."
Good for Scottie. I watched virtually every game he played at Villanova and am amazed at how college talent doesn't always translate to the NBA. Kid is a winner and can score in a number of ways. He will likely make more playing in Europe than he would sitting the bench in the NBA, so it's the best of both worlds for him- ya know, minus the whole having sex with married women thing (see story below).
