Highlights from Joel Embiid’s First 12 Minutes of Professional Basketball

Joel Embiid played all of his allotted minutes in the first half of tonight’s pre-season opener at UMass Amherst. The strategy out of the gate was “give Joel the ball.” He got doubled early which forced a couple of turnovers, but he also showed flashes of the Joel Embiid we have been waiting for. Here’s his first career three long two:

Embiid ended his night at halftime with 6 points on 2 for 6 from the field, 4 rebounds, and two blocks.
