Video: “Colangelo’s Lie,” an Insane “American Pie” Parody about The Process

Sixers fans are the most amazing kind of nuts. They’ve got bound versions of Hinkie’s resignation letter, TTP tattoos, and now a nearly 9-minute “American Pie” parody called “Colangelo’s Lie” inspired by the Nerlens Noel trade.
.@MaxRappaport .@Michael_Levin A little something I wrote about my relationship with The Process. Please spread the word to save a life pic.twitter.com/2tnWPqvnXf

Written by Patrick Resch, the lyrics were put to music and sung by Matt Duke – all set up by Philly Voice’s Matt Mullin. Anywhere else, this would be weird crazy, not fun crazy – and you know what? maybe it’s a bit of both. If you have nine minutes to spare, press play. because it’s Friday and you aren’t really working anyway.
When the eventual 30 for 30 on The Process is made, positive or negative, this is what the credits will roll over.
When he's not writing about sports here or ranting about them on Twitter, Jim is probably watching X-Files on Netflix or drinking a beer somewhere. Jim has nothing against hockey, it's just not his style. He once met Duce Staley at a Sixers game.
