Holy shit. This seemingly came out of nowhere.
Elon Musk wants to build his hyperloop right through Philly:
City center to city center in each case, with up to a dozen or more entry/exit elevators in each city

So what is it? Musk had previously talked about putting one in California. Here’s how it works:
The Boring Company, of which Musk speaks, was sort of a Twitter joke that became reality when he grew frustrated with LA roads and began digging outside the parking lot of SpaceX.
The gap between governmental approval and digging massive tunnels ‘neath the most populated section of the country is… large. I fucking love Musk, though. No one else would even try this. Dude wants to go to Mars and change driving, energy and transportation as we know it. He’s already well underway in two of those endeavors.
Good thing this will eliminate congestion, because the roads are going to be a horror film if this thing ever gets underway.
