Carson Wentz is Engaged

Carson Wentz didn’t get to play in the Super Bowl, but he put his team in a position to finish the job, going 11-2 and chucking 33 touchdowns before suffering that week 14 ACL tear.

And while Nick Foles was celebrating the win in Disney World, a recovering Wentz went ahead and got engaged, bending that surgically repaired left knee and asking his girlfriend Madison Oberg to marry him:

Now, Kyle has a source close to the situation who says that Oberg was “very involved” in the ring buying process. That seems like the way to go, in my opinion, because it’s impossible to screw up the decision making if she’s the one making the decision, right?

Anyway, Oberg sort of popped up on Wentz’s social media accounts sometime in 2017. Carson had previously been with his high school girlfriend, Melissa Uhrich, but the pair split up awhile back, and her pictures disappeared from Wentz’s Instagram.

I’m not sure what happened there. We’ll have to get Perez Hilton to check it out for us.
