Birds Add Another Receiver

After releasing WR Marquess Wilson yesterday, the Eagles will bring in ex-Raven Kamar Aiken for training camp.
That’s according to Aiken’s agent, David Canter, from DEC Management:

You’ve probably heard of him. The 29 year old had his best season in 2015 when he caught 75 balls for 944 yards and five touchdowns. That was the year both Steve Smith and Joe Flacco went down with year-ending injuries and the Ravens stumbled to a 5-11 record. Eagles player personnel executive Joe Douglas was working for the organization at the time.
Aiken’s production dropped during his third Baltimore year and one season in Indy:
The Eagles have Alshon Jeffery, Nelson Agholor, Mike Wallace, and Mack Hollins as roster locks at this point, so Aiken will come in and compete with the likes of Shelton Gibson, Markus Wheaton, Rashard Davis, Greg Ward Jr., and Bryce Treggs for a roster spot.
Zack Rosenblatt over at NJ.com says it’s a one year veteran minimum deal.
